DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday 23rd Aug    Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 pm.   Â
  Location: The Chains\, opposite The Londis\, High St\, Great Bedwyn\, S
 N8 3NU.\n\n\nThe group walk this month will start from the village centr
 e and head to the end of Church St and Hatchet Lane. The last time we pl
 anned a walk along Hatchet Lane it had to be re-routed because of floodi
 ng in February. It’s hard to remember that now but who knows what the 
 conditions be like when these heatwaves end!\n\nThe walk will continue t
 hrough the shade of Stock Common and then along a private driveway\, wit
 h kind permission of the landowner\, to reach more shade in Chisbury Woo
 d from where we will head downhill back to the village.\n\nNo stiles\, n
 o steep ascents. The majority of the route is on good tracks. Tick prote
 ction recommended.\nBring a drink or snack for our short refreshment bre
 ak. Dogs on leads please\n\nOn this walk we won’t be walking through f
