An evening of Astronomy

Local astromomers will set up telescopes for visitors to marvel at the heavens (weather permitting). Richard Fleet will give a presentation during the evening; a look at our motion through the Galaxy and beyond – first lecture at 19:00 second at 20:00. 

There will be plenty of opportunity to see the engines working before viewing the sky through the telescopes (do dress warmly and bring binoculars).

The Smithy Tea Room will be open for refreshments.

Please note: Annual Steaming passes will not be valid for this special event.

Admission:- £10 per adult, under 16’s go free

Booking

You can either book online or buy your entrance ticket on the door. There will always be plenty of room for visitors.
