The recommended approach is from the Horton Road out of Devizes. Take the A361 through Devizes and at the last roundabout take the 3rd exit, passing to the right of the car garage, signed “Allington, Horton & Bishops Cannings”. This will take you through the village of Horton and on through Allington. Stay on the road and after you leave Allington there is a brown sign on the right indicating access to the Long Barrow. Postcode SN10 3NN. Turn right down the track and the Long Barrow is about half a mile down it. There is parking on the drove at the Long Barrow. The track from All Cannings is more potholed and not  recommended. The surface of the track is the responsibility of Wiltshire Council.
